Rutabaga (age 3) likes to tell stories where she fights Randall (the chameleon monster from Monsters Inc) and defeats him.
Here are some iterations that I particularly enjoyed:
- She always takes the time to set up the tension of the moment by including audience reaction. She'd say: "Randall goes rrraawwwrr and says 'I want to kill you! I want to kill all of you!' And everyone else is very scared, even my flying horse. But I'm not scared, and I take out my blue sword and say, 'Randall, you are a bad monster, I will fight you!'"
- One time, Randall shows up and, according to Rutabaga: "All the animals ran away into other stories" and only came back when it was safe.
- One time, "Randall said, 'ow ow ow' and then he ran away into the tv and hid in Monsters Inc movie."
Ay, this child is getting too meta for me.
