Today was a good day! Got to taiko on time, Babbu Toddles was suitably entertained by the tablet while I taught, and then we drove to the Zoo (!!!) and spent 3 hours there doing Zoo Things, and then Toddles fell sleep on the drive home and slept all the way until the babysitter showed up, who then bought me a few hours of Self Time.
I think we need to start doing "eat food before tablet play" now that she's old enough to be reasoned with. For the first time in 3 years, I feel like I can see the light at the end of the tunnel! It's gotten to a stage where Hoosband being gone for a week isn't devastating. Maybe by the summer we can travel with her! Maybe I can go back to traveling with Joanne for a week!
Tomorrow is Work Day, but still. It was good. And now I have the rest of the night to do creative stuff.
