What a weird week.
Monday... I don't even remember Monday. Oh wait, I had to run some errands, and then it was a bad brain day, so after some paperwork and some meetings, I took a nap. Got my MRI results, which said that my brain was fine but there's some weird neck lump that I should get re-MRI-ed. I've had this neck lump for the last 3 years, so I was like "eh".
Tuesday I went to the Neurologist, who, after hearing my symptoms and doing some tests and looking at my MRI, declared that I *haven't* been having a series of concussions, but rather a series of migraines .... that don't have auras or headaches... but has sensitivity to sound, light, etc.
Wednesday things were going well, and then I answered a phone call from the Chinese Consulate and got pulled into a 6-hour-long elaborate phone scam that left me emotionally shaken.
Yesterday I finally got around to doing some grading and more prep for Rutabaga's change from daycare to preschool, and even got a chance to go to comics! My new gadget arrived and the pen was mediocre, so I'm planning to return it. Went to bed late due to all the futzing and also because of preschool prep. Then the baby kept us up all night.
This morning I went to see Infinity War, which was surprisingly well-paced and tightly-scripted, and had lunch with an internet friend. In the process, I realized that my neck lump, which hadn't really changed in the last 3 years, is suddenly much bigger.
So I spent the last 20 minutes or so reading up about pleomorphic adenoma and getting a bit worried.
But I need to calm down bc I need to go pick up the baby and show her the new preschool and then... I dunno.
It was supposed to be a simple week of grading but it's become a whole weird thing.
