summercomfort | Taiko concert is done!!!

Wow! Lots of friends came to watch, which was awesome. I'm especially appreciative of Mr. and Mrs. nendil who got a babysitter so that they could schlep all the way over. And Jeremy, who took public transit all the way up! And also mom!! I felt kinda bad because it was her birthday weekend, and bro had flown back especially for that, and I was like "sorry Mom we cant have birthday dinner on Saturday. How about instead you sub for my class and then drive an hour to watch me play taiko and then not eat dinner until 9pm?" But mom enjoyed the concert, so yay!
