TV watching suggestions?
So I recently finished Young Justice while drawing the Stucky comic, and now I'm on the prowl for a new tv show or movies to marathon while I draw.
This is hard!
It needs to be:
- Fairly predictable plot that I won't get too invested in (so well-crafted tv shows with complex plot lines don't work, because I just end up watching the show instead of drawing. The characters need to stay relatively predictable.)
- In English or Mandarin (so basically anime and bollywood is out, unfortunately. I need to be able to just listen.)
- Not have a lot of visually-dependent storytelling (fight scenes are fine, boring montage sequences of detectives doing lab work is fine). So... crime shows with lots of verbal explaining, or jokes that are delivery-dependent and not visual/sight gags.
Anyways, taking suggestions!
(My fallback is CSI -- I've marathoned through CSI:Miami already, so I guess next up is NY, but I'm hoping for something diff. Maybe a Chinese show? There's always some good WWII stuff, or court intrigue... Someone suggested reality TV, but I'm not sure I'm ready to take that plunge...)
