Why are there jobs out there that pay people *not* to think? I understand the ones where you're paid to think and learn and create something, where there is a special skill that you're offering, but jobs such as library shelving and bus-driving should be replaced with robots or something. Bascially you're being paid minimum wage to mechanically do something that required all of your attention. You can't even slack off and read a book at the same time. There isn't any room for learning, either. The bus drivers who do 12-hour days don't really have time to go home and learn other skills. Same with all the factory workers, etc. Blah. okay, I'm done ranting for the day.
