Arrow episode: League of Assassins
Yup, it's Thursday, which is when CW puts the latest episode on their website.
- Whoa! I recognized a comics character name!! The latest island stuff is starting to make more sense. Still miss Slade a lot, though.
- I really like that Detective Lance figured out Black Canary pretty quickly -- his detecting skills didn't get dumbed down (unlike with his dealings with Oliver, although you can argue that Ollie put up a slightly better facade, and by the time Lance started conversing with the Arrow, he was willing to let Arrow's identity slide.) As a result, you get into the more juicy stuff of dealing with knowing the truth, instead of some farce of how to keep secrets. If there's one thing this show has been pretty consistent about is in showing that secrets suck, and that you should just trust your family and close friends.
- I want more Moira, Thea, and Roy!!
- They're dishing out a lot of back story -- pretty awesome!
- Interesting to see Sarah at a stage that Oliver was at the beginning of the last season -- all traumatized and unable to trust people and snapping necks left and right.
- Next episode seems to feature some Diggle stuff. I'm excited!
