Summer update!

So school-related stuff start next week, followed by moving and more school-related stuff. I feel like I didn't get as much done this summer as I'd hoped, but let's check ye olde to-do-list, shall we?

Errands
- Take car to dealer's for 160k check-up
- (60%) Attempt to fix the laptop that broke last year (Took it to Apple Store -- they think it's a logic board problem, which would take $$$ to fix. Might take it somewhere else.)

Chinese School
- Process checks
- Fix up the Chinese School Essay portal (Took only 2 days. Booyah!)
- Work on fiscal-year-end accounting Eh, it's due Sept 15th, so I have a leeetle bit more time, and it'll be easier to do once I'm back in the South Bay.

School
- (60%) Edit Mandarin 1 Textbook and write Mandarin 2 Textbook with MJ (We have the outline done, so now it's mostly just filling in the details. We'll have some time during tech week to do this, too.)
- WR summer retreat
- Teaching an iBooks Author workshop!
- Polish my Asian Studies Curriculum!
- Read Summer Reading book (Wonder)
- Make connections with SF Chinatown
- (20%) Plan and teach Summer Challenge (Aug 5-8)
- (60%) Help with 1990 Institute's China Workshop (Have gone to all the meetings, etc. Now just need to go to the actual Workshop on Aug 5-6)

Other stuff
- (80%) Update/re-design Studio Xia website (I want to make "preview" pages for various products, the blog needs to fit the rest of the layout, and make the menu stuff part of a PHP include)
- Draw Tisquantum. Finished a section, have next part written and 4 pages laid out.
- Learn the code for Chinese learning game
- Move to Oakland.
- Move to Mountain View (happening next next weekend!)

Unexpected stuff
- Get a concussion
- Get visit from Joanne!!
- Visit bro in Santa Barbara
