So hard to do end-of-school-year work when summer beckons...
I just tried to do some Tisquantum work on the tablet... it didn't work very well. I think I've set up Tisquantum to be too Photoshop-dependent -- it requires a degree of polish that Sketchbook Pro can't handle, especially given the lower processing power of my 8-yr-old tablet.
So... I kinda started a different comic??? It just happened. I'm actually kind of excited, actually -- my natural voice is in the pseudo-autobiographical, and my natural drawing style is the kinda-sketchy, not super-refined look. So whereas 1 page of Tisquantum might take me 1-2 full days, doing 1 page of my more "natural" comic only takes a few hours. The difference is just too great to resist. Plus I think I've hit upon a topic that I want to talk about. So... we shall see!
In the mean time, I think the thing I should work on when I *really* don't want to grade is the Studio Xia website. Its current incarnation is basically a placeholder, and it feels that way.
