I've been dreadfully sick the last 3 days -- running a 103 fever for 2 nights in a row, being pretty much soup-only for the last few days, etc. But I'm recovering, and very thankful that Jono has been around to make yummy soups, and parents were able to give sage sketchy medical advice (despite one being in Shanghai and the other being stranded in an airport in Philadelphia).
Before the SICK, I was making some pretty good progress on my various projects and activities -- getting a good chunk of Chinese School work done, hitting a good momentum with school, taking the next step in the Squanto comic, etc. It'll take some time to regain that momentum, but I guess that's the cost of health....

It's been hard to find ways to add blacks to clothing when so much of it is leather leggings and loincloths.
In general, though, I think I'm finding the right balance between historical integrity and creative vision.
