recalibrating to-do list
Man, things taking more time than expected. :(
Things I did!
- Laid out a pretty good version of Jianghu game! It's very different from previous versions, and I'm excited about possibly play-testing it this winter break.
- Watched 14 Blades (锦衣卫) with Chris. It was... well, there were some cool fight scenes, but the female characters were (1) girl with stockholm syndrome who somehow finds it okay to confess her deepest desires to her captor, and (2) mysterious evil chick with no clear motivations or character development. And the main character's motivations and relationships aren't well-developed, either.
- Bought some cheap long-sleeved shirts. Hemmed in some sleeves while watching Netflix. Now I'm maybe ready for Chicago next week?
- Bought fabric for my purse. It looks like I won't have time to make it in the upcoming weeks, though, so it might be a winter break project.
- Started Christmas shopping (o.O;;)
Things I need to do before I leave for Chicago!
- Grade at least 15 Hinduism essays
- Flesh out practices and marginal notes for the next 2 chapters
- Finalize Faculty Council survey
- deposit Chinese School checks
Things I need to do before semester break!
- Finish the tons of school work!
- Figure out the rest of the presents. I owe Joanne, like, 4 presents, one of which needs to be sewn.
Things I want to do during Winter Break!
- playtest Jianghu 5
- make my purse!
- do more coding work for Chinese School website
- Hang out with friends! (Likely brief nearby roadtrip? Can't afford to fly, but would like to leave town...)
- Do those edits for China Comic
