More to-dos

5 days ago I was still in Indiana. That's kind of mind-boggling to think about, since life as been so busy, and thus, time has been stretched out. The big accomplishment of this week has been writing a javascript program to random generate pinyin with desired initials and finals and tones. The program still has some quirks, but it has been quite serviceable in class. I managed to keep my shit together for Asian Studies, which hasn't been easy -- I haven't had to do so much lesson-planning (2-3 hours/day) for a few years. Yeesh. To make things worse, 2 students have dropped out of my class, so I barely have a class anymore. :(

September is a pretty busy month on the Chinese School front -- The 2nd and the 9th are day-long teacher meetings, and then Chinese school starts proper on the 16th. Company taxes are also due on the 30th. (Boo)

Stuff with deadlines:
- Do Payroll for Chinese School (tonight!!)
- Write self-reflection for school (deadline: tomorrow 3pm)
- Write lesson plan for Identity class (deadline: tomorrow 4pm)
- Get new Chinese School websites ready for prime time (deadline: tomorrow night)
- Spend 2-3 hours at Chinese School offices tending to mail, checks, etc. (deadline: Sept 2)
- Change the user permit for the new classrooms. (deadline: Sept 9)
- Write UC credit app for Asian Studies. (deadline: Sept 15)
- fix up comics, print. (deadline: Sept 20)

Other stuff to do:
- Tidy up the house, wash car
- Tidy up Moodle
- Revise Writing Handbook and put into DropBox
