tired...

Hmm... I slept in yesterday, and then in the afternoon I went to the drawing Marathon. At first I felt like such a newbie, but someone offered me a seat, and everything was fine from there. I had a lot of fun talking to the people around me. The guy on the right used to be a web designer (for the past 6 years), but now that he's settled in Palo Alto (wow), he's planning to pursue a full-time artist career. His dad's an architect, and that's always a plus on my chart. The woman on the left had shoulder problems, but she tries to draw anyway. She works in the comercial dept of Evironmental Health, and spent about 5 minutes telling me about swimming poos, etc. (o.O) What's really cool, though, is that neither of them had actually taken classes. (So I'm not alone! Hah!) Anyway, I was only there for 3 hours, the second half of the drawing marathon. 4 nudes (all girls, ranging in girth and height) posed ten 1-minute, five 2-minute, six 5-minute, four 10-minute, and two 20-minute ones. (They took breaks every 20 minutes, so that doesn't add up to 3 hours) So I was pooped by the last 20 minute one. But it was *so* fun! Especially the gesture drawing for the 1-minute and 2-minute poses. I think I liked the 10-minute ones the best, just the right amount of time. So I'm thinking of going to the Tuesday night one...

Ugh, I still have to give Jeanne my bamboo flute for her to give Amiboshi, but I need to go to the bank first for money to give her to spend for me at AX (get lots of pretty pictures!)

Going to the movies this afternoon, but my dad insists on seeing Moulin Rouge instead of Shrek. Oh well, I guess I can go another time. Moulin Rouge shouldn't be too bad. Then we have to go to Shoreline park to celebrate Francisco's b-day. ::rolls eyes:: wonderful. He's kinda cute, and the Yale guy who comes is even better, but a Yale guy and a Stanford guy with mysterious smiles and really messed up poems aren't really fun to talk to. ("Hey Francisco, what are you doing?" "I just finished learning this really complicated elf language invented by Tolkien. Want to read the poem that I wrote with it?" "umm.....")

Hmm... Tochi wrote... I'm gonna read the email now. ja!

See Moulin Rouge! I LOVE Moulin Rouge!! :D

It's like Utena---in live action! *_* I swear, Baz Luhrman and Ikuhara were seperated at birth. They're both shameless, they love color, they love fancy whirlwind cinematography, and they love music! They like pretty things! ;)

I missed the first half hour (saw Atlantis) but I wanna see it again. And I want the sountrack--not counting "Lady Maramalade". ;p
