yay! got my new glasses. They're... well, *small*. I'm wondering if they're *too* small. There is an obvious box around my vision. Plus I'm still in that stage where I have to get used to the stronger lenses and correction for astigmatism. But they're really light (weight-wise), and for once they're not brown with golden sparkles. Finally. And the whole exam/glasses setup was only $58! ah, the wonders of insurance. Okay, I'm getting dizzy. Time to switch back.

One more final! Mwahahah!

I know the feeling, I've always had glasses that actually touch my cheeks (which I blamed for my source of acne)and when I got nice spiffy small ones, conejita was like, OMG I can't see my feet in my peripheral vision, I'm going to trip and fall every five min!! especially being used to contacts which has no blur border.. course nice thing about the new ones is I have pretty decent side peripheral vision. altho these new materials that make it so the lense doesn't have to be so thick are.. well.. basically my side vision has color separation, now the guy at the eyeplace was like oh, you'll get used to it and it'll go away, but it never did.. ^^; I somehow managed to train myself to notice such details, like the tv my parents bought did that color separation thing and they're like what? what are you talking about, and I have to point out all the misaligned colors ^^; but I digress... you'll certainly get used to them, I had to wear my "old glasses" to find my new ones the other day and I noticed how aweful they were, no wonder I always wore contacts ^^; anyways how nerdy can conejita be if she finds glasses an entertaining topic ^^;;; ah well
