yay! got my new glasses. They're... well, *small*. I'm wondering if they're *too* small. There is an obvious box around my vision. Plus I'm still in that stage where I have to get used to the stronger lenses and correction for astigmatism. But they're really light (weight-wise), and for once they're not brown with golden sparkles. Finally. And the whole exam/glasses setup was only $58! ah, the wonders of insurance. Okay, I'm getting dizzy. Time to switch back.
One more final! Mwahahah!

And when you get new glasses and everything suddenly jumps into focus, you feel like you're taller. (b/c the ground looks farther away. the brain takes a while to adjust. For the first few days when I switched glasses last year, I was afraid to ride my bike. "aah! I'm so high up!")
And the colors, too. When I got my first astygmatism glasses, I saw these nasty red and blue edges around everything, especially strong darks and lights. It took a *long* time for me to stop seeing that. What's sad about asygmatism is that now that my eyes are permanently non-aligned, even things at close-view look blurry and double-imaged when I take my glasses off. ;_;
No, conejita isn't nerdy. Well, either that, or Sushu is as nerdy as Conejita, as she finds the topic of glasses quite interesting as well. But the cool things are those magic eye pictures... all I have to do is take off my glasses... ^^;;
