2 Things
1) Jono made troll horns for me and him! They are quite awesome. That means I should start working on costumes soon.... But I also want to do trip planning.
2) In a strange spurt of productivity, I updated my website today. Wow! I haven't really updated it since... 2 years ago. Of note, I put up some relevant video links in my Chinese section near the bottom, fixed the broken links in the Commissions section (although I intend to eventually transfer that over to a dreamwidth/sketchblog tag), I put up a Powerpoint that I did about anime in the still-defunct Anime section, and I finally found and scanned an old crappy martial arts comic that I attempted to do for 24 hr comics days a long time ago. (It turned into a 12 hr comics day b/c I started at 10pm, and fell asleep at around 5am, and then woke up at 10am and worked until 3pm.)
Reading that old comic made me want to DO BETTER. So many awkward layouts and pacing moments, and TOO MANY WORDS. Comics need dialogue, but they also suffer from too many words, so unlike movies and novels where dialogue makes things interesting and can be used to show personality, with comics it's much more efficient to show personality through expressions and poses than with weighty words.
