Dreamwidth?

So I've been with LJ for a long time (9 years!), but the stupid full-screen ads are just really frustrating, so I've been wondering about alternatives -- should I go with Dreamwidth?  Or give Notoble a shot?  Opinions?

Also, I'm at a World Religions summer institute in Urbana-Champaign for this coming week, from 7pm tonight to Saturday morning.  (At SJC, my favorite airport right now).  I'm flying in and out of Chicago because it's cheaper, so next Saturday I'll also be dawdling around Chicago for a while as I make my way up to O'Hare.  Maybe visit Joy Yee's and such.  :D  I know Urbana-Champaign is kinda in the middle of nowhere, but if any Indiana folks want to visit me...  well, at least I'm in the same time zone.

I'm on dreamwidth. It lets you port over ALL your LJ entries and you can set it so when you post at DW you automatically post at LJ as well, incase you still have a lot of folks on LJ you want to keep up with.

I got a dreamwidth account for the day when the ads get too annoying. It's useful because it can export to LJ really easily. But right now I just use adblock.
