Colorado
So this weekend (Saturday-Tuesday) I went on a trip to Colorado with Joanne. It started with basically Joanne saying, "Hey, I want to visit Colorado". Then I replied, "I don't care that much about Colorado, but I'd like to take a train *to* Colorado, cause it's got Rockies and some of the original Union Pacific tracks". So that's what happened.
Basic itinerary was thus:
Saturday: 9am train from Emeryville
Sunday: Arrive in Denver at 4pm. Walk around downtown
Monday: Colorado History Museum, then drive to Steamboat Springs and enjoy natural hot springs at Strawberry Park
Tuesday: Drive through hail storm to Garden of the Gods, and then up Pikes Peak
Food: Train food, Maggianos, "Grill-your-own-steak", eatBar
