No comic, but...
... I've been working on Toph costume this week. Sunday after Chinese school Jono and I went to buy fabric at Walmart (cheap fabric ftw! $23 for 11 yards of fabric). The colors weren't perfect, but oh well. So I cut out the fabric on Monday (freestylin' using random pants that I had lying around), and sewed a few hours each for Tues-Thursday, such that by last night at around midnight, I was mostly done:

Hmm... now that I see it, I think I made the belt a bit wide... Oh well, I'll re-do it later. I'm still waiting for Jono to get back from Chicago with that long black wig he borrowed from me 4 years ago for his Sai cosplay. I'm thinking of just lumping that together, adding a stiff rim, and attaching it to a hairband that I then sew the headdress over. It'd be like wearing a ginormo hat! Man, when I start doing cosplay stuff that I really miss the two fabric shops on Roosevelt. And the ghetto Hyde Park wig shop run by a Japanese couple on 53rd...
