We had a delightful family outing today. We drove up to San Francisco right after lunch and got home about half an hour ago. At the Zeum, we spent 2 hours making a claymation thing, which was actually pretty cool. ::happy:: Then we wandered around the MLK monument thing with the spiffy architectural design and the water flowing all over the place. We saw the Metreon, and since we didn't know what it was, we went inside and walked around, oogled at the electronic dog, casually ignored anything else Japanese (caught a glimpse of Tomoe and Beauty + Beast), and found our way outside. Metreon=very cool place easily accessible by public transit. (ride KX for 1 hour, get off at Mission & 3rd) Zeum=kiddish, fun for my brother. You can obviously tell I'm planning another individual trip up there... But then, my parents would kill me if I do that. darn it.

good reason to go back: SFMOMA is like across the street.. I dunno if the ansel adams show is still there.. but yea AND there is yerba buena (another art museum) which is in the same park as the MLK thingy.. ah well I see the metreon too much, the whole place seems like a rip off to me, but if you do find something worthwhile there I respect you for that (hasn't spent that much time exploring the metreon) anyways yea art museums make conejita happy ^_^

yes, extremely good reason. By the time we got out of Zeum it was 4:00, and dad was worried about our parking, so we walked around and went home. ;_;
