If you're of the 5 people on my friends list who hasn't voted early, or is out of the country, remember to vote today!

Find your Polling Place courtesy of Google Maps. Make sure to bring your voter card and picture ID! (And your sample ballot!)

Jono is being an election officer today, so he woke up at 5:30am to go set up the polling place, which is at an elementary school about a 5 min walk down the street. :D

He's been writing me these little text messages, so I asked if I can "live-blog" them...

12:47pm:
"Lull right now. 178 voters in the morning rush. No on 8 handing out leaflets on sidewalk."

2:44pm:
"Whole class of 1st grade came by to watch & learn. Also Mountain View has surprising number of Russians who no speak English."

3:17pm:
"95-year-old Chinese-American woman just voted for first time in her life."

Ooh yes Mountain View DOES have a surprising number of Russians who speak no English! What I have found is they tend to live in little pockets... like a whole bunch in one apartment complex. It's cool though. I miss the diversity down here.
