Is it me or is it them?
It's a common complaint that the quality of fanfiction just isn't what it used to be: That there is an increasing population of chattering 13-year-old fangirls who delight in OOC self-insert fics and have no idea how proper fiction should be carried out.
But now I'm wondering, is it the influx of said fangirls, or is it our gradual maturation? I mean, we were all 13-year-old-fangirls, weren't we? I remember reading OOC WaFFy KnK fics and ignoring all the spelling, etc, just because it was a KnK fic.... o.O
