Yay! I just finished some lesson planning for AVID!
Tonight I went with Jeremy and Cat to visit the newly-arrived Jono and Kristen, his sister. They just got here via Budget Truck Roadtrip. Pretty awesome. We went to the Castro street ramenya, and then to Ikea, and then to boba, where Jono was introduced to the magic of Green Tea Toast. Then we went back to Jono's apartment and played Settlers of Cataan (with cities and knights expansion) until 1:15am. All in all, a good evening.
It's good that Jono will be in the Bay Area for a while. :)
Then I came home and did lesson planning! Yay! It makes me feel more prepared for the future.
Tomorrow will be the work day that today was not.
Plan for tomorrow:
- Morning: sleeping, tidying up room. Running of errands.
- Afternoon: Schlep things from room to classroom, set things up for school (if spare time: start taxes)
- Evening: dinner and evening in Palo Alto. Talk to mom about new quarter of Chinese school lessons.
- Night: (post 9pm) Lesson plan for History
Sunday:
- Morning: Grade Chinese School tests, prepare for start of Chinese school.
- Afternoon: Chinese School
- Evening: print out lots of stuff at school, etc. Lesson plan for school. Last minute grading.
Monday: School starts again! Attempt to remember everyone's names
