Update
Life continues apace! And said pace last week involved taking public transit for 3 days, driving 6 different cars (Roommate's, Dad's, Mom's, Jono's, and 2 test drives), all while trying to squeeze in time for grading and lesson planning. Um, yay the glory of my life?
But the good news is that I have a car again! I was researching cars and was looking for a $6000 car. There was a 2003 Corolla for $6900 which was a very good deal, but in the end I went for a 2001 Prius that was selling for $9200. It is a pretty cool car, and imo, worth the extra $3000. (It came out to $10,000 after tax). It's light blue, and doesn't have any of the fancy schmancy wireless stuff that the new Prius has, but the gas mileage is excellent and it's definitely a step up from my Corolla. I like Toyotas. (Although Jono's rental Suzuki steered like a dream).
The next few weeks will be quite crazy. Next week is the final week of this marking period, which means I need to be a grade-hag. Week after that is Parent-Advisor conferences, which should be... interesting. And Joanne is visiting for a week starting the 13th, and I am going to Las Vegas with Kim and others either the weekend of the 21st or the 28th. Spring Break is Mar 21-30!
I also need to start doing ACen stuff, like thinking about skit, ordering fabric for cosplay, etc. (Last episode of Bakumatsu! Next week! ZOMG can't wait)
