went to a dinner party last night, spent three rather fun hours with good company. (As opposed to 7 hours with mind-numbing video games). Listened (and failed to identify) LoR music, sang along with the english ones and read the lyrics to the elven ones, read some random Yeats stuff, laughed over bad sentence structure, tried to play the LoR civilization game.... so yeah. Yuan is cool. (plus he's sorta cute, and *really* smart and nice. Very quiet sort of guy, though, but he's gonna go far in life.) And mom says that if I get into Stanford, they (my parents and his parents) are going to match us together. o.O;;;; (yes, I think my parent are really looking forward to my marriage.) Mom: "he has fine curly hair like you! that means you two would work well together!" Me: "^^;;;;"

so... yeah, and sent off two apps today. yatta!
