Yay!

It's been an exciting couple-of-days.
Sunday: Graduated!
Monday: Got a job!
Tuesday: found an apartment!

Well, the application was technically finalized today, but most of the driving around and touring was done yesterday. It's kinda exciting. I've never lived in a posh apartment community before. Check out their website: Avalon Rosewalk. Since I've moved at least once a year for the last 5 years, I guess this is just yet another living experience for me. What's awesome is that I'll be one light-rail stop from work, and I can also take the light rail to downtown San Jose. There's a small shopping complex right next to the apartment, so that's pretty awesome, too. I'll be living with 2 other STEPies in a 3rd floor 3bd/3ba apartment with vaulted ceiling and fireplace. We got the $2099 move-in special, so with utilities and cable, it'll probably come out to about %750/mo for me. Not bad for awesome digs! There's like, a pool and a fitness center and everything.

Wow, congrats! Actually, it's really many congrats rolled into one!

Your new apartment looks awesome! That company has built some monstrosities in Manhattan, but the complex in SJ looks AMAZING!

Thanks! :D I'm hoping it will be a good year. (And if not, I can just move). Considering the number of sketchy apartments I've been in, this will be amazing. (An oven that works! And isn't slanted!)
