... wouldn't it be awesome to make class compilations CDs to play during appropriate moments? That could totally be my first assignment to each class: give me your favorite song, explain why. It'd be awesome for bonding/team-building. This would also mean I can associate music with each class. :D

(For those who are like "omgz Sushu is talking about music?! wtf, she's totally music-illiterate!" I'd like to say: "occasionally I *do* open up my iTunes of music I stole from various people." I actually like it better that way, actually. It's like having little bits of friends and roommates in a little box.)

That's a great idea!!! Can I steal this from you if I ever get into classroom teaching?

Also, this would be a brainstorm, right? Isn't a brain fart an instance when your brain stops working momentarily?

I feel like a brainfart is when your brain farts. Sometimes the bi-product is useful, but always it sidetracks from whatever the brain is doing. A brainstorm would need more focused thinking time.

Oh, and stealing is what teachers do! Beg, borrow, and steal, as we say...

Or, as my history C&I prof said, "it's not stealing, it's collecting" ;P
