Thursday, in which much is accomplished, and much is left undone
Accomplished
- 9-1pm: finished high school school year. Lugged all manner of papers home from school
- 3-5pm: finished final Differentiation class. Drank champagne and talked about teaching.
- 6-11pm: dinnered with Karen and Christie *and* put together concrete conference topic for next Friday ("What is history writing?" We have come up with an awesome acronym: Argument, Writing, Evidence: AWE! Shock and awe, baby!)
To do tomorrow:
- drop off present andconclude properly with CT at Fremont. (Maybe ask more about job?)
-drive Jeremy to airport
-Chinese School treasurer duties
-drop off video camera at STEP. Buy graduation stuffs
- job search actions (calling, mailing, emailing, filling out forms)
- tidy room,stairs, car, living room (everywhere that I have shit lying around)
-fill out eleventyone STEP exit surveys
If possible, I'd also like to take some time to reflect tomorrow -- the course of this year, the loves and hates, the quintessence of teaching, etc. Many things circling in my head, and finally some time to slow down and think a bit. Maybe also some quality drawing time. (Apologies for the listless (or list-full?) nature of the recent posts. We will return to scheduled angsting and picture posts soon enough. ~_^)
