I feel done with the "bloo" series. Here begins the "hark" series. Don't ask me how it works in my head.









Carrie, oC doesn't like my tablet pen. :( But I'll work on pretty D+Namiko picture. :) I don't have anything unfinished lying around that isn't, erm, comicky. :( So I drew two random things last night... :) But they're really sketchy. :(. I kinda colored them, but not really. It's more like "here be the lighting" and "this might be sepia???!!" Also, they're ArtRage files (with layers!!) I can export to psd if you want.

I was thinking this might be a sepia photo of um... the brothers? Who don't look alike??

hey, fanservice isn't *all* bad... but I know that boobs come in all shapes and sizes (although some are more attention-attracting than others). :D

what do you mean Kenshin hair? Oh, those are all of the same nude model, who had red hair, um... like that, yeah.

I have no idea. He just felt like he needed ridiculous hair.

yup! Berubara forever love! (Well, boots are always boots. If you look at ep 1 of Berubara, though, they had those tights... whereas these men just have pants stuffed in boots. Because boots are sexier than pants. Well, lack of pants is sexy, too...

the keyboard shortcuts for the tools are pretty simple... it just goes from 1, 2, 3, ..etc

the eyedropper tool looks like, um... one of those fat paper charcoal blenders, except with a droplet of water at the end.

There *is* no lasso/move.

(one of my 2 problems with ArtRage: no lasso/move, and no good inking tool. You can compensate for the inking tool by setting paper roughness to 0%, and then cranking up the softness/pressure of pencil/crayon)

I dunno if I would call it finished.. more like I killed it. I might take another stab at it (just to make sure its really dead ;) )

What I learned:
There can be too much paint.
Paint roller has less paint than the paint brush... or at least flatter paint
To be open minded about this whole paper-texture/paint texture
random saturated-ness can appear with the paint brush.
So that's the eye dropper!
