So I went to my first second-round job interview last night. The interviewer tells me I'm one of two, and that she will be ready to make offers in 3 weeks. (Nervous!)
It's at a small public charter school that is just starting up in August.
In other words... next year would be INTENSE, but if I survive (yet again), it would be good for me.
Also, for the last two days I've been taking 2 hour naps in the afternoon. Dude, what's with that?
Today is 4/24, otherwise known is "24 hour comics day." (To which I say "meh".) I think kaitoujeanne's birthday is also today?

| Good: - small and homey, the people seem nice and supportive. - good pool of students (it's college prep) - I would essentially be department chair - complete control of the 7th-9th grade curriculum - pay is "corporate style" (meritocracy) | Concerns: - what if on some days I just want to close my door and hide? - I would be teaching 192 students in 6 classes the first year. - I would essentially be the only history teacher - having to design 3 grades' worth of curriculum - a lot of pressure to perform |
