Home

Home again and settled in my bachelor shack after a day of running around.

Classroom is a teacher's home outside of home, and today I helped my CT tidy it up from like 8am to like 3pm. I put up lots of posters! The Electricity guy came to juice the computer! There are 44 people in the first period class!

I also stole a yearbook and now am very nervous. I will make this relevant to the theme by saying that teachers have the same authority over kids as their parents at home. As in, we can make them do things that policemen have no right to do. Like go through their locker.

As of Wednesday, we officially have a new house. It will slowly transition to being home over the next month or two. "Why do you need a new home, Sushu?" You ask. I say, it's cause not much of our current home is actually for the family. There's two bedrooms, and a living room. Everything else is like, Chinese School stuff. So we're running away from the Chinese School stuff.

Speaking of house, Netflix accidentally sent me a disc of House. So I watched it. It was entertaining. Like Scrubs except featuring someone with like, the complete opposite personality. Fun, but don't think I'll be watching more of it. It's good, though. Solid writing, and very good acting. There's a quote that I'm gonna post in [livejournal.com profile] sushuteaches because it's about teaching. Sorta.

Spent the evening talking about lots of Chinese School stuff with other people. Very draining. Will now read the newspaper. Especially the movies section.

Anyone up for a movie tomorrow? The Illusionist, Century 16, 7:55 or 10:30 showing. Edward Norton and magic, yo.

They filmed The Illusionist in my neighborhood in Prague.

House is a good show! The jokes and interaction between characters are great. I hope you continue to like it. It's a good show for having marathons and watching four or five in one sitting. Can get a little repetitive, though.
