Muscle memory

urg, tried to log in to the Stanford website again. The pain of having sushaxia as my SUNet ID is unbearable. Considering how much trouble I have to writing the word "sushi", "Susha" is just ... no. And it's not even anything real, so I rebel against learning how to type "susha" and identifying it with myself.

4 years at this school... I'm fighting a lot of muscle memory in this change, and such a change it will be, too. I almost called my SUNet ID my CNet ID. And I almost went to axess.uchicago.edu. (Although, seriously, cmore makes more typing sense than axess. I keep on wanting to type axxess, but no, it's the Stanford Axe, right? Whereas c is a logical abbreviation of "see" by sound.) I'll have to get used to going to different places for lunch. And travelling differently. No more trips to the Coop. I'll have to re-learn where everything is in the stores. Funnily enough, I know parts of Chicago better than I know parts of Palo Alto. Different lifestyle, I guess. So I guess every time I move, I collect a bit more of this muscle memory business.

Anyways, I shall conclude with a presentation of The -erior eggplant
And! The Vegetable can is called "water spinach" here: http://www.foodsubs.com/Greenckg.html <3

The eggplant is never eaten raw?! What kind of nonsense is that?? I eat it raw all the time here and it tastes way better that way.

Ahh, the eggplant wars. Which I seem to remember were solved by agreeing that each was good for the kind of cooking it was intended for. If only we had known how many types of eggplant truly existed, we could have had much more interesting wars.
