Does anyone really have a reason when they try to give something a catchy name? Maybe that's how many times you have to twirl on your toes before it'll let you play a game.

Yeah, the Nintendo Revolution has... a really weird looking controller. It looks like an iPod shuffle had babies with a nunchuck. But apparently it's revolutionary because it's extremely backwards compatible -- it can play all past Nintendo games, not just the most recent ones. That, at least, makes sense.

PlayStation 3... most sense of all.

Probably because 360 degrees is a complete circle, or revolution. It lets them have their kakumei name and also a quick numeric shorthand version.

that makes almost too much sense. It's still bad, though. When I hear 360, I think maybe the screens are 360, or maybe the controllers are a circle
