Well...
Got a good night's sleep, got up this morning and did some v. last minute cramming on Econ and Ancient Civilizations, both of which came in handy.
The three subtests took about 4 hours and 40 minutes, so I was glad to have the 5 hour testing session. I think I generally did all right. There were about 4-5 questions on each subtest that were like "I have no fucking clue", and the last subtest had a response question that I totally pulled out of nowhere ("What are two economic experiences that Latin American immigrants face when they arrive in California"). But I'd like to think that I did better than the guy sitting behind me who was taking the same tests, but entered no knowing that there was a writing section. In any case, the results will arrive in my inbox some time in October. Till then, I can forget all about it.
And then I had a lovely sushi dinner with

eptified in Japan-town (took forever to find parking, though. Ugh, I hate city driving). After which we drove to his hotel, finished the Men's Pocky that was in his room, checked him out, went for bubble tea, then drove to his new crashing place in Pacifica, which took.. 3 hours. ^^;;

And now I'm home... with workbooks to grade by tomorrow noon. Crash-time!

All in all, a good day.

Oh! And daddy made lobster udon, which was v. v. nice. And the abalone nigiri at the sushi place... OMG. Pricey, but OMG. <3 abalone. (Remind me to bring a few cans back to Chi-town)
