Welp, it's late-night meme time. Note that these aren't the "top 10", just 10 random peeps that would be cool.

- Jerome from Gattaca (I like both of them, but perhaps "Eugene" more)

Ah, but Treize and I have a long history. His tricksiness, his sense of nobility. Une would kill me if I try anything, but... come on, he invented Epyon, which is like the sexiest Gundam, like, evah! XD

Ah, such very Sushu choices. But isn't Dio a bit young for you? ^_^

Also, isn't Kenshin secretly Jean Valjean, not the other way around?

Well, that's why I chose the vague term "bed". In Dio's case, I'd just want to cuddle him. Really, people from that show aren't really do-able, if you know what I mean. Alex is to angst, Delphine will kill me before I get to her bed, Luciora and Sophia are so attached to their SO... Claus... um, no. Destiny Boys aren't that great for bedding. Plus Claus and Lavi feel too young. There's Vincent, but he doesn't have enough... character. Moran's kinda cute though, and quite dorky, which I like, but too puppy-like. I guess that leaves Tatiana and her chick, who are possibilities, but Tatiana's really too uptight.

I agree about Saitou, who is really Javert, as we decided in the tenth grade. Ah, good times.

OMG, I still have the plans for that somewhere...
- broody flip-flopper Marius would be Aoshi
- Fantine, a die-hard romantic ditched by her boy, hated Jean Valjean but ultimately saved by him, would be Tomoe
- Cosette, the innocent girl that Jean Valjean would do anything to protect, including sacrificing himself, would of course be Kaoru. (The whole thing of "I love her but I'm too stained to have her" thing... omg)
- And of course, the spunky street-wise Eponine with the unrequited love for Marius would be Aoshi
- and Gavroche, her little brother who was hated by his family but went on singing and smiling indifferently, would obviously be Soujirou...
- Okina would be the crotchety regalist old man that Marius turns from,
- Shishio would head the gang of revolutionaries intent on overthrowing the aristocracy....

Only problems are Sano, Yahiko, and Enishi. Sano ended up being Fauchelevent (sp?), the guy in town who hated Jean Valjean but became his friend after being saved by him, and ended up saving Jean Valjean when he was running from Javert. Yahiko ended up being the little chimney sweep at the beginning, and Enishi ended up being the head of the gang who wanted to rob Jean Valjean.

And instead of the confusion of post-Napoleon France (yes, change forms of govt every 15 years why don't you), it'd be the craziness of early Meiji, with the miserables being the dispelled samurai and others who got the short end of the stick in the starting of new industry and a modern nation-state.

Okay, stopping now before I get to draft constitutions and the eating of beef.

You forgot Megumi.

While I've never read Les Mis, that does sound eerily RuroKen-mitai.
