Things I don't get:
- APR. I *thought* that as long as you pay your statement in full by the due date, you won't have to pay finance charges. If so, wtf is the finance charge on my credit card that comes out to exactly 1 month of compounded interest on my current statement?
- Mac shortcuts. Specifically, the Force Quit. Like when I mean, they tell you the shortcuts with these little images, but the keys themselves don't have the specific little image. Except for the command key. So I can figure out the flying Z is option, and the upward arrow is shift, but what's the little clock pointy?

Anyway, I'm apparently going to be in China from Aug 2-24. In the mean time, Mom has enlisted me to help her make the geography curriculum that's, like, due very soon but she's been too tired/busy to start and is now LOOMING. ::temporarily distracted making "loooom" noises::

Work continues apace. I drew part of a picture on the bus today. I need to show it. :D In the meantime, sleep.

::poke:: Ne ne ne, where you gonna be? (Not where I am, certainly, but heck. =P)

I know that Force Quit is apple-option-escape, so I can deduce that the flying clock pointy must be the escape key. I've never paid much attention to these, but yeah, I wonder who thought of these cryptic symbols and thought they would be a good idea for the vaunted user-friendly interface. Oh, according to Apple folkore, the cloverleaf symbol for the command key was chosen by a Swedish member of the design team, in reference to a symbol found on swedish maps to denote an interesting roadside feature. And the symbol on the maps came in turn from some kind of viking rune carved on milestones.

I'm Jono, by the way.
