Well, a few weeks after acquiring this iBook, I must admit that I'm not a full mac convert. There are some nice points, yes, but the PC is cool, too. For example, definitely bigger fan of the start menu vs. dock. Or even better would be something the combines the organizational functions of the start menu with the customizability of the dock. Semagic is a better program than xJournal. Certain applications and suchlike are harder to get to. I may be stupid and can't find it, but I sorely miss the "details" folder view that lists folders first, then files, and has the side preview panel.
On the other hand, of course, I'm not worrying about viruses, there's no fan noise, the screen is better, and cmd-tab makes sense.

Have you found a good program for listening to Ogg files, i.e. LJ phone posts? I've tried Audion, but everything is squeaky and warped, and I haven't had much success fixing whatever is the problem.

I am a Mac user since last month, but as you seem to be experiencing, it's taking some getting used to.

hmm... one'd think that mplayer would do the trick. I don't have any ogg files handy for trying, though.
