looking at trailers again....
1) the international trailer for Fantastic Four is basically the same stuff.. .except to classical music. wtf, are we too cool for classical music?
2) Death of a Dynasty looks surprisingly witty. Yet perhaps somewhat honest
3) Hitchhiker's trailer is quite cute. In that meta-trailer funny way. (trailer 3, as opposed to trailer 2, which is a more traditional trailer)
4) Oh, Richard Taylor, so nice to see your face again, doing, gasp, more swords and prosthetics and creature design. They better have a good script for Narnia. But wait, these things are like 3 year projects, right? Design, acting, special effects, editing... And there's like, 7 books. Does this mean it'll span 21 years? gah.
5) Herbie. Um... it's the lassie thing? Chimps used to take that role... but now... it's, um, a CAR. (It totally sounds like something out of Query Letters I Love)

Man, so many things opening April 29th. (Early summer season?)

Herbie's been around for a long time. I used to like those movies when I was four and five, though I was always disappointed that the plot focused more on the humans than on the car.

ah. The car's not bad. It's the premise and framework I dislike. Really, how many times can you do the "a child's wish... the only thing that can pull the family together...." thing?
