Home after chillin' with the girls. Stomache slightly upset, but the food was good and wholesome, so very confused. Maybe too much milk? I always want to drink a lot when I socialize, whether it be tea or water or milk, or whatever's on hand. It's actually a good way to get me drunk b/c if you put a glass of liquid in my hand I will intake consistently and frequently. Watched Last Unicorn! and parts of Nicholas Nickleby.

Have hw to grade now. Can I say ugh?

Dairy is supposed to be hard on the stomach, especially if you're not white. But are you sure it's a good idea to tell everyone on LJ how to get you drunk? Now we'll all be tempted to try. And yay! for the Last Unicorn! Had you seen the movie before? What'd you think?

They are free to try to get me drunk. Don't think I'd be a terribly exciting drunk, though. I remember seeing bits and pieces of it as a kid (I remembered the animal-release scene and the unicorn-tidal-wave scene). It was pretty good. I'm kinda sad that some of my favorite details of the story are left out, like Schmendrik's story, and Hogarth or whatever that town's name was, and the Spider.... Everything just felt a bit scrunched. And Lady Amalthea singing? "Now I'm a womaaaaann~~" But I can understand the confusion of people who see the movie first and are like "wtf? this is crazy. I don't get it" There are parts that I liked, though. Most of the characters are very in-character, and I liked how the unicorn was done. <3 the execution of Schmendrik, and Lyr was okay. I'm looking forward to the live-action, just to see how it'd be done... I hope there'll be a greater sense of wandering and bigger hype of the EEEEvil King. I really really hope that Schmendrik would be well-acted, because he has to be kinda scruffy and young but also slightly pompus and a little too old in the eyes. More important, though, will be the unicorn.
