I helped daddy kill two chickens yesterday. A friend of ours got a new frequent-flyer job, so couldn't take care of her chickens anymore, so she called up my dad and brought over the chickens. Y'know how you call up that tech friend when you want to install Linux? Apparrently my dad's the guy to call if you want to kill, drain, nudify and gut chickens. It was lots of fun! And we found an about to be hatched egg in the chicken (minus the crusty shell, as well as other less-prepared eggs), which was uber-cool. I have now seen a pre-treatment chicken gizzard. And de-feathering chickens? totally fun! I was going "eeeee!!! I'm stripping a chicken!!" and totally spazzing.

Chinese School. Grrr. I suck as a teacher. 'nuff said.
