today was nice. I stayed up till 5:30 last night doing Chinese School drawy stuff, but my plan of pulling an all-nighter was foiled by my brother. ::sigh:: So I woke up at 11:30 today, had lunch, finished inking the rest of it, and then scanned it. Now comes the hard part: cleaning. I'm really just tempted to erase the speckles and not try to refine the drawings to a presentable level.

Oh, it's late now and I need to sleep, but I have to remind myself to send the logo thingy to Alexis. :D

What else... today after dinner I said to myself, "I'm living in California right now. The weather is lovely, yet I'm never outside." So I went on a walk to the midtown Safeway to buy some Kool-aid packets and some white vinegar. It was a very pleasant walk. I got to wear down my wooden sandals a bit more, I got to look at houses and the destruction around Jordan, and I knitted a swatch of dyed yarn for more experimental felting. I was really tempted to buy the Dixie tupperware that had the little airhole flap and the cup-measurements on the side. And on the way back, I stopped outside of Karen's house to remember her address. But I've forgotten whether the six is in the middle or on the right. :(. Oh well. So an altogether pleasant hour spent outside. I need to do that more often. The kool-aid dyeing also worked, so now I'll start making a bag to hold yarny stuffs (hopefully with handles, shoulder strap, and base). But that'd be straight stockinette for a looong time. I might get bored again. I mean, even the sock was kinda boring once I understood the concept of turning. Hmm... I wonder how well patterns and designs felt...

Let's see, what else... Alexis called yesterday!! :DD. Yes, that is the highlight of my week.

Oh yes, some time soon I'll upload some of the better Chinese School pictures for show. Argh, cleaning, argh.
