Okay, so yesterday I helped my dad from 9-3, writing names on about 700 envelopes. Go me! And then I went to the library and checked out some books. *Finally* sat down and read Understanding Comics. ::shame:: I know, I know. But now I feel more understandy. Oh, mom also cut my hair a tad. All in all a productive summer day.
Today I collated and stuffed those envelopes until 4. Go me!! Soon I'll be off a-shoppin' for inside slippers.
Also: My brother is going back to China for another semester starting August 23.
And now...
In the morning, we hopped over the Cluny to oogle Medieval stuffs...
And then it's off to ...

Ste. Chapelle

Interior happy-glowyness!

Mmm... yummy stained glass....

After a quick lunch...

It's the Notre Dame!! (minus the hunchback and the quarterback)

look, it's the art-nouveau peoples on the Old Testament door! :D

Then after wonderful ice cream on the Ile. St Louis, we were off to the Carnavalet Museum...

That grimace on my brother's face says: "Stop taking pictures of us already!!"
But yes, everything was in French, there were way too many paintings of random important Parisian figures I didn't really care about, a few cute furnished rooms from one of the X+ Louis', and punctured by random chunks of statues. It'd be... "boring painting, painting painting, oh, a big painting... and the left front leg of Louis XIV's horse.... and painting and painting... oh, it's the right foot of Louis XV, about the size of a table..." And suchlike.
Then after a short dinner/nap at home, it was off to the Orsay!

yay art nouveau.
Hm... server seems to be having a bit of trouble. Oh well. I'll figure it out later.
