OMG, do you know how relaxing it is to have everything finally over with? Everything extracurricular, that is. Happy sigh! Acen's done, FOTA's done... Time to take a nice deep breath and remember that I do possess weekends, thankyouverymuch.
Things I learned this quarter:
- I can't be at two places at the same time
- I can't be at one place trying to do two things at the same time
- flaking is not good.
- the value of a car
- the scarcity of parking
- I can cut pieces of fabric and then sew them to make clothes
- glitter should not be sprayed in the hotel bathroom tub
- sewing machines are magical, but handstitching can hold your pants up. (try not to poke her thighs when sewing around the crotch)
- The holding strength of velcro
- drunken parties w/ much schmoozing & gyrating = not Sushu's kind of fun
Ah yes, finally got a chance to show Isaac/Alexis Hedwig. Much amusement and appreciation. Confusion about the ending from those parties. Tried to explain the gnosis thing and the passing on of Hedwig and origin of love, but really, I don't get it fully, either. The singalong was shorter than I remembered. :(
Hmm... lessee.... want to talk to parents about moving in w/ Alexis/Catherine (Especially since Jono has now decided to move in with Jeremy!). I think in the end, it'll hinge on whether I find a subletter for this apt or not. Some concerns about that place:
- how's the plumbing?
- will the kitchen better itself?
- noise permeability of room
- closets? (not big issue as have few clothes.)
- distance from school (although not that bad considering that I walk that far every day just to see Alexis.)
On the other hand, the majority of my problems may be solved by a $30 airport and a $20/month cell phone. Except for the whole dinner thing.
