Hmm... it's something quite disastrous when it's Thursday already and my last entry was from Monday.
...
Well, the past few days have been spent watching 天龙八部 with Kim and doing geeky commentary because I strangely know the plot from reading the book back in 9th grade. Kim also got some Japanese dorama like Strawberry on Shortcake and A Beautiful Life, which are quite cute.
Ah yes, Tuesday was Mystic River, which was... eh. It was long and dragged out and uninspiring, but much <3 for Tim Robbins' subtle acting and Sean Penn's "I'm pissy and hurt manliness" look. Besides the slow and obvious setup at the beginning and the fact that you could see every plot "twist" about an hour and a half beforehand, what really killed me was the yucky ending.
Wednesday was major hanging out with Kim (she got some duck from China so we had a lovely dinner and did a 煮酒论英雄 combined with a 丐帮吃叫化鸡 attitude), and I got dragged to Badminton (ran away after an hour), but I had fun! :D Even though I suck like nothing else, I want to go again some time.
Today, watched Donnie Darko with Isaac. Oh, the <3 for Jake Gyllenhaal! Also helped him move stuff back to Alexis' apaato. Still have to watch Emperor's New Clothes some time.
I'm also a bit of a wimp. The skirt thing doesn't look that hard to do, but since I'm gonna be deviating a bit from the pattern, I think I'm gonna just get Helena or Alexis or someone with more confidence to cut out the pieces for me, then I can sew it some time. <^^;;
