wow. Came back fully loaded. I found THE COLOR for Rei, but it's this wool remnant that's only 1 yard, so I got some other remnants that's 3 yds. I knew I should have gotten the other green for Kagura, but I like the fabric of this lighter green better. Hmm... maybe if I wear something blue underneath, it'll make it greener? Anyway, got a Kyo-orange for the Kyo backpack instead of a duller color as in the anime. Oh, also some patterns.

Then I found a Walgreens on the way back, so I went in and got some of the stuff that I need within the next day or two, namely, soap, milk, and um... glasses? Well, they were there, and I don't recall our Walgreens having any, so I grabbed them. OMG, I'm gentrifying myself by now possessing 4 glass cups of dubious quality for $4.50 from Walgreens.

There was a shoe store right next to Vogue Fabrics that was selling shoes for $10, but the selection was the glittery type, and I'm not *that* ghetto. So instead I went to the Payless Shoesource across from the Walgreens and got a pair of Rei-ish shoes (well, close enough, won't matter on stage) and a pair of snow-stomping boots, despite the fact that there's no more snow. It's a bit short for Kagura, but it should still be usable. Anyway, it's for next winter or whenever my peeling sneakers don't cut the line. (bad idiom use)

Then I hopped down to Chinatown to get some wintermelon and tofu pouches, but ended up getting a bunch of canned goods and a new box of noodles. No wintermelon, though. Ah well.

So now I'm home, and too tired to cook the dish I got the tofu pouches for. -_-;; Oh well, there's always tomorrow.

Oh, and when I wasn't carrying bags, I was working on my hat, so got 8 rows done during the transportation process. (What was sweet was that I caught the 55 express both ways! go me!)
