well, yesterday was quite involved...
Got up at 10, chatted with Alexis. Kim came, went to dimsum, came home, chatted until 4:45 or so, started work on dumpling filling, calligraphy people started coming around 6, much dumpling making and consuming and then chatting. Joanne showed up around 7:30, desperate for venting, then kicked calligraphy club people out at 8:45 so that we can go to Love Actually. (The girl needed a girlfriend who wasn't with anyone). Got home, found tupperware of cookies! that Alexis made me! <3<3, and then Isaac was being all helpful and coming upstairs to listen to me vent incoherently about my long day. :). I prepared enough filling for 15 people, and 11 people showed up, so there's still some extra. Looks like I'll be eating dumpling for the next few days...
I made vegan dumplings and the vegan didn't show. :(
So yes, tiring, but fun and necessary, and felt loved. I don't think I'll host more than 1 dumpling party per quarter, though.
Oh, yes, Isaac provided a nice summary of the current state of affairs, which I perceive as the Truth, so all is well and settled: I need to hit on Alexis more. ;)
Today I plan on doing a lot of Islamic Civ reading. And going over to Alexis' for a dinner, and then going to do some studying with Joanne and Jakob. As for Calligraphy Club... I'll see how much I'll have done by 1. Hmm... also need lunch some time....
