It's kinda strange and new to have a friend who's interested in The Inner Workings. Generates interesting conversations, and makes me think about things that I usually don't, which is definitely a Good Thing.
I think despite its ups and downs, I must admit to having enjoyed this year. It's fuller in some ways. Doing some exploring, thinking, and settling, if not academically.
And what's cool about college living is that *everyone*'s apartment is ghetto, so I don't feel bad inviting people over. (Whereas at home, there used to be all this secretive Chinese School sweatshop thing and of course the ghetto living space with a dark brown raggedy carpet and the one bedroom deal. But now new bigger *house* at home, too!) Although something I should remember is that not everyone's as into dehydration as I am.
