Update: Now I've calmed down a bit and shall take the opportunity to point out the symbolic cranes on the screen, as well as the detail of the western clock in the background. Looks like the dojo has been slowly westernizing. In the manga, only the police had western clocks. There is a wall-scroll on the back wall, as well as a small table holding a mirror. Definitely Kaoru's bedroom. (Does this mean that Kenshin and Kaoru slept separately like the good old-fashioned couples they were? Or was one futon enough for the two of them like the rascally couple they are in steamy fanfics? -- of course, that's all given that Kenshin's alive.) Notice the sakaba behind Yahiko. ^0^

-Kenshin is dead, Kenji has gone off to fight, Kaoru is ill and stricken with grief, and Yahiko is at Kaoru's side, vowing to bring Kenji back. It is time for Kaoru to think about her memories and how her life has been for the past several years... *flashback* to when Kaoru met Kenshin one quiet night... ::nostalgic music plays::
-It is a flashback to when Kenshin left for Kyoto and Kaoru became depressed, but the scene looks a bit different in the OVA.
-Kaoru is pregnant with a second child, but her pregnancy is not going well. Kenshin has recently died from the side effects of his numerous injuries. Yahiko is wondering about how they?ll all manage, especially since Kenji has turned out to be a juvenile delinquent who is mangling the honor of Kamiya Kasshin Ryuu. Kaoru is about to authorize Yahiko as the new head of the school.
-Um, Kaoru just has the flu and Yahiko is asking what his extra responsibilities are in the dojo in the meantime. Kenshin is off buying groceries. The purple screen behind Kaoru is interesting.
-Kenshin discovered the joys of cosplay, especially cross dressing cosplay; Kaoru found out and fainted-- "The master of Hiten Mitsurugi Ryuu doing what?!? Yahiko: ?Don?t worry, Kaoru; even though he does look like a girl, I?m pretty sure he?s straight...?
-It is not Kaoru. It is not Yahiko. ._.
-Er... Tomoe and young Enishi? o.o

Ok, enough whacked out speculation.

Sushu, are you sick? :( Didn't see you at school... You missed math club; Katherine drew cows and math jokes on the board for us. ^^;;;

herm... the first one--pretty likely, except maybe it's a warm summer night when Kenshin left, b/c if Kaoru thinks she met Kenshin one warm night, she's definitely hallucinating.
The second one: not likely, considering Yahiko's clothes and age.
Third one: Likely, but poor Kenshin, dying just after getting his wife pregnant! Maybe that's somehow related to his injuries. XD ::hentai thoughts::
Fourth one: Kenshin would be the fussy one de-gozaru-ing all over the place while Yahiko is sent to buy the groceries
Fifth one: Does that mean that we can find Kenshin at Fanime? ^0^ O-hohohohoho!
Sixth one: That's definitely Yahiko
Seventh: Perhaps.... although I do remember Enishi being different. Besides, it's the "passage of times" arc... not "pre-memories" arc.

I was sick Tues and Wed, but I was fine today. Just felt like eating instead of going to Math club. (heard you guys were going over the SC test, which I didn't take, so...) Damn, I missed Katherine and her Amoolia drawing skillz? ;_;

Yes you did!!! Muahaha! but that's okay, there will be other chances. I noticed that the Math Club should be called the "Asian Guy Nerd Club" I was the only caucasian girl. I was kind of like "Well, I'm not Asian, and I'm not a guy, so that makes me..."
