Woke up this morning and it was 0 degrees outside. Now it's 9. Subtract 20 for windchill and it suddenly becomes hellishly cold outside.
Um... last entry, I was demonstrating to Kim how do write Chinese in LJ, so it says "Hello! It's very cold today!" or I guess, "Hola, hace mucho frio hoy!" Hm... what would the Japanese be? "Konnichi wa, kyo wa samui desu yo!"? ::shrug:: Literal translation would be: "You good! This Day Very Cold!"
But yes, it's cold today.
Went to a bunch more classes today.
Here is the full list of possibilities:
MW:
10:30-11:20 -- Islamic Civ
1:30-2:50 -- Chinese Foreign Policy
3:00-4:20 -- Classical Confucianism*
TTh:
9:00-10:20 -- Theory and Practice: International Cooperation **
10:30-11:50 -- 19th-C France: Poli/Soc
10:30-11:50 -- Intro to Chinese Politics ***
12:00-1:20 -- History/Literature in 20th Century China
1:30-2:50 -- Transnational/PostColonial
4:00-5:20 -- Social Dance (Th only)
*(It's actually WF, but Vikings to Crusaders have decided no, and this only has 4 people and a supposedly awesome prof, so. Will see tomorrow.)
**(I dropped it b/c I thought it was gonna be too advance for me, but Joanne went this morning and said it wasn't.)
***(Supposedly good to take in conjunction to Chinese Foreign Policy b/c one is domestic and one is foreign. But it's the same time as the France)
So, since I can only take 4 classes, and Islamic Civ is sequenced from last quarter... bold=take, underline=audit
(China Option)
