So, sat down last night in front of TV and made a card for Yipeng, cause like we owe their family and stuff. He had mentioned wanting a comic starring himself last Saturday, so that's, like integrated into the card. Or something. ::shrug:: Maybe was inspired to draw something by looking at old Kenshin manga when

conejita was around. Actually, I admit it, it's another excuse for me to experiment and try out this whole ... layout thing. Some things I had fun with, many things I'm like "ugh, that's stupid" now that I look at it. Also, I was too lazy to get thicker pen, so it's all thin and stuff and no real solid black. And the words are seriously pathetic b/c I can't write, um... stuff. (Apparently I can't pose, either, but whatever. Have now fully realized the true patheticness that is the 2nd page)

Time span: 3 random reruns, 3.5 infomercials, minus time talking to mom. So a little more than 3 hours.

Off to make 蟹粉小笼包 now. And to glue the card together. Yeah.

Add: There is something wonderful about chatting with Joanne about applying Nietzsche to Gollum/Smeagol/Frodo. :D. And then after my passing comment about nothing dorkier than playing D&D with a Marxian twist, trying to apply Marx to LotR in a Shire-Isengard-Gondor sort of way. 8)

Sure, it can be a pyramid if you want it to be. I just thought it's, y'know, a pointy roof. But apparently I err in my judgement.
