If people recall Autumn26 from yesterday, I colored it last night while watching Will&Grace reruns on UPN. (no comment. Thus is the happy life of network TV). But anyway, this is my first time using my new!shiny! Crayola 24-pack colored pencils, so much fun was had. It's kinda boggling for now I have twice the colors of the old 12-pack, yet they're still all... y'know, off.
I should have taken wip photos or something, b/c it was really funny, how I started w/ the skin and then the hair and then the gloves... all the little things that I know the color of. The skirt was practically last, and I'm still not happy w/ the color I picked, but alas, thus goes real media coloring. (plus the skirt was screwy from the beginning). Actually, that's the good thing about real media coloring-- no regrets. Well, at least no undo, so lots of "crap-fuck shouldn't have used that yellow," or "I should have left that white" but also many "eh, whatever"s. ::sigh:: Color continues to defy any of my attempts to understand/harness it. Also a little worried about the reception of the coloring, for cadrach had said her main colors were pink, blue, and black, and I kinda neglected the black, and added a bunch of other colors. I think she's also supposed to be tanned/dirty, and I don't think that came across very well. And now that I look at it, I realize that I haven't escaped from the Delirium-ness at *all*.
